Preparing For The 2015-2016 School Year

Greetings from The Paperless PTO. We hope you have begun to enjoy your summer and are able to relax for the next few weeks. We have been busier these last few months than at any time in the past and have some great new features that will be rolled out to your Paperless PTO website this month. Look for specific announcements from us detailing these new features.

Getting Ready For 2015-2016
For now, the first order of business is rebuilding your site for the 2015-2016 school year. Many featurs of our program automatically roll over into the new school year on July 1st. This did happen on the 1st so you will notice things like date ranges that now show as 2015-2016.

There are several other year end features that require a simple yes or no from one of your website administrators. These features are shown on the Manage Year End Settings page of the website builder and include options for:

* resetting membership status
* moving students up a grade
* replicating your calendar
* replicating your items for sale
* resetting class parent volunteers
* emptying shopping carts

All that you need to do is indicate which features you would like to have performed and it will be done at 2AM on the date you indicate.

These tasks will save you lots of time and effort in the coming year if they are performed.

If no action is taken, the only task that will be performed is resetting the homeroom teacher of each student.

Thank You
Thank you again, for your continued patronage to The Paperless PTO.

Hoping your summer is great,
